With your registration and occasionally after your registration, Stripe asks you to verify your data and person.

You will receive a warning in your profile.

If you follow this link, you will be taken to another page to complete the verification.

For new registrations, you often have to upload an ID document as well.

Please make sure that you upload a valid, colored, photographed document.

If Stripe asks you for a new verification, it may look like this:

In this case, please upload one of the following documents:

  • Registration confirmation/registration certificate
  • Utility bill (electricity and telephone bills are not accepted)
  • Bank statement (only copies, screenshots or downloaded bank statements are not accepted)
  • Loan account statement
  • Officially issued documents

Here is a good example of what a document can look like based on a registration confirmation:

Please always check that the address shown below matches and does not contain any errors

Verifications may fail for the following reasons:

  • Quality is not good enough, possibly too small
  • Parts of the document are cut off/not visible
  • Your name is not visible or not visible in full
  • Documents are older than 6 months

If the verification still fails, please contact our customer service with your document.
